Celebrating 25 Years of Holiday Magic with Joe Walden

For 25 years, Joseph Walden has been creating magic at Christopher Radko, turning glass and glitter into cherished holiday ornaments that serve as memories for collectors around the world.

      A Journey Sparkling with Creativity

Joe’s story with Christopher Radko began over two decades ago when he brought his artistic talents and passion for design to the team. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a master’s in art education, he quickly became a driving force behind the creativity that defines Radko ornaments.

Now, as Design Director, Joe continues to inspire with his vision and dedication. Every year, he and his team bring fresh designs to life, making each holiday season more magical than the last.

      The Heart Behind the Ornaments

For Joe, it’s never just been about creating ornaments— it’s about the stories they tell and the traditions they become a part of. Reflecting on his 25-year journey, he shares:

"After 25 years of designing Christopher Radko Christmas ornaments, I’ve come to realize that each piece I helped create is more than just a decoration - it’s a memory waiting to be made, a story to be told, a smile about to happen. The joy of knowing the designs I've worked on bring warmth and beauty to our collectors’ homes, year after year, fills my heart with gratitude. With every new season and each new collection, I’m reminded of the magic of Christmas, and I’m honored to have been a part of that magic for so long.

To the talented team I work with, our wonderful retailers who support us, and all of our enthusiastic collectors - thank you for making my dream come true and giving me the best job ever - cheers!!!”

      Here’s to the Next Chapter!

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Joe for 25 years of artistry, inspiration, and holiday cheer. His work has made Christmas a little brighter for so many, and we can’t wait to see what magic he brings next.

Here’s to many more years of creativity and Christmas spirit!
